Part of our mission statement is "Assisting Others" and this is what "Servo" is all about.  it is an opportunity to live out the biblical mandate to "love others."  On the first Friday of each month we go to the headquarters of Preston Taylor Ministries in order to love on the children in the neighborhood.  Each week PTM offers after school tutoring in the name of Christ and Fridays are their fun days, so we get to play games with the kids - football, board games, etc.  Our goal is to get to know these students and show them the love of God.  

After Servo we will grab a quick meal together, so bring $ for a dinner (Wendy's / Whole Foods) and be back @ Covenant by 6 pm.  You are welcomed to skip the meal and have your parents pick you up at PTM.  We will be done at PTM around 5 pm.

If you need a ride to PTM contact Betsie or Phil by Thursday of Servo week and meet at Covenant @ 3 pm.  Some parents will be driving directly from various school campus, so we can be at PTM by 3:30.  Check with Betsie and Phil to see if there is a car picking up at your school.
